The Evolutionary Leadership Workshop is back!

We are happy to announce that The Evolutionary Leadership Workshop is back for its seventh season!

We paused this program for a couple years during Covid and took time to assess what was working and how to take things to the next level. The feedback from past participants is overwhelmingly clear. The impact of the EL Workshop is monumental. It lives as a powerful network of individuals dedicated to the evolution of consciousness and culture.

Geographic proximity makes a significant difference. The community comes to life as participants come together in person. This is why this year we are mainly inviting folks living in the Northeastern United States. We want to nurture the community of doers that has grown around this workshop and is now anchored in Boston.

What is it?

It is a six day workshop to make dreams real. It is defined by the framework of intention, connection and experimentation. And it is specifically designed to take that idea out of your head and into the world. It is for you if you know to bring change to your life’s work and you need support through the transition.

Overview

Intention

During the first few days of the retreat you will harness your sense of personal power and get clear on your life’s purpose. We want to align your life force with your intention. You will be introduced to a set of strategic frameworks. And we will dive into your inner world through practices such as journaling, guided meditation, visioning exercises and one on one coaching.

Connection

Every participant will bring a project to work on. This is a requirement for participation. You must bring something concrete that you want to make real in the world. You will connect deeply with other participants. We will build trust and authentic relationship through the sharing your life stories, your goals, your fears the habits of mind that have gotten in the way. The workshop is designed to facilitate lifelong friendships with other participants.

Experimentation

Before the retreat ends every participant will commit to an “experiment” that will move your project forward. It must be something concrete. A measurable test that takes place in the real world. You will have a personal coach to hold you accountable. And we will review the experiments together at our three month check in. This is where our workshop differs from other retreats. We don’t leave you with a glow that will fade soon after we are together. Our commitment is to support your evolution: real change, growth and lasting community.

Background

This is the 7th year of the Evolutionary Leadership Workshop. I set out to create something that would last. More than a peak experience. Not something that fades away as soon as you get back to your normal routine. My goal was to build community.

The Evolutionary Leadership Community now has a life of its own. Participants support each other everyday. The support can be professional, personal, spiritual, emotional, and even financial. We understand that this is what it takes to thrive together. This is what it takes to thrive at all.

The EL Workshop is for you if you

All applicants are required to submit a project. The project can be in any stage of development. It can be an idea in your head. Or something that you are years into building.I just needs to be specific. And real.

To form deep, lasting, relationships we need to have the courage to show up as our most vulnerable selves. This work will not be easy, but it will be worth it.

We define self-sovereignty as your ability to bring yourself back to coherence when you are triggered. We all carry trauma, and because this workshop intentionally takes you to vulnerable places, it is not uncommon for memories of trauma to arise. When this happens participants are responsible for moving through those feelings without disrupting the group’s progress.

Attending the EL workshop comes with a commitment to provide ongoing support to the EL community, which is anchored in Boston. If you are looking for a week-long self healing workshop focused entirely on your personal growth, this is not the workshop for you. This workshop is for those that recognize that the best way to continue to grow is through supporting each other and through giving more than you take.
