Coaching has become one of the most rewarding parts of my work. It is not all I do. But it is one of the strongest levers for transformation that I have yet to find.

Here is a video where I share more about my approach to coaching:

The first five minutes provide context for how I got into this work. You can skip ahead if you want to get directly to my actual approach.

Originally, my coaching work narrowly focused on leaders navigating the endless waves of VUCA.

Volatility. Uncertainty. Complexity. Ambiguity.

People contending with a growing culture of grievance and hypersensitivity. A work culture that seems to question the very existence of leadership itself. The persistent obstacles to leadership masterfully articulated by Maurice Mitchell in Building Resilient Organizations: Toward Joy and Durable Power in a Time of Crisis.

This is still true. I am committed to supporting leaders do work that demands a different leadership posture.

But there is more to my work. My aim is to help you:

  • Give up any story of being a victim

  • Place heart and spirit at the center of what you do

  • Find your way back to your Self, your integrity and source of power

  • Hear hard truths and learn to speak them

  • Develop your Self-Sovereignty, the capacity to bring yourself back to coherence when triggered

  • Make consequential decisions and take action in the real world

  • Experience a pressure cooker for transformation

  • And, most importantly, continue to heal from the hurts that are holding you back

My approach to coaching is deep and direct. It is anchored by the idea of radical responsibility. And it aims for objective change in behavior. You reach clarity, make decisions and take action. When you work with me you commit to a consistency of practice. And you are experimenting. Learning by doing. Iterating to find what works.

You first sign up for five sessions. Then we decide if we want five more. That's it. We want to see real change. True momentum. These are coaching cycles bound by rigor, discipline and commitment. We are creating a cauldron for transformation.

I am blessed to do a lot of deep, healing work with groups and with individuals. I bring similar depth of care and even tenderness to our coaching relationship. But my one-on-one coaching is for people who know they will be pushed.

You will also have the option to be part of a broader community. I offer programs, workshops, experiments and other offerings designed for our evolution. The BOOST Your Practice Program is a good example. This work is best when we do it together.
